About Us – The Academy of Leadership & Management
At the Academy of Leadership & Management we focus on developing leaders, managers, coaches and mentors, and business advisers through practical work based and distance learning programmes. Our courses lead to globally recognised qualifications from the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) or the Small Firms Development Initiative (SFEDI). We are also an Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs (IOEE) approved academy.
We offer courses in the following subject areas:

Our development programmes are available to both individual students and employers who want to implement development on an organisational level. Our courses can be delivered on-line – making for a flexible and cost effective learning option which can fit into a busy schedule. We also have a strong track-record of designing tailored in-house programmes suitable for employers. We can also provide programme management, accreditation and learning consultancy services.

We have a number of strategic partners which allow students to make the most of their qualifications. Most notably we have partnered with Edinburgh Napier University Business School to offer practical programmes which give participants the opportunity to gain a degree at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
