BA Business and Enterprise has no traditional exams as we want you to apply your learning. The course involves a combination of assessments, workshops and independent study. Assessments are practical and applied, including reports around work roles, work-place based assignments, presentations and case studies.

Julie has significant experience of CMI & ILM qualifications and delivers accredited programmes at Levels 3, 5 and 7 in leadership and management, mentoring and coaching. A Chartered Member Institute of Personnel & Development, Associate Member of the Chartered Management Institute and a Fellow of the Institute Leadership and Management. Julie is a qualified executive coach and also tutors individual students and cohorts across the world.

Susan is the recently retired Dean of Teesside University Business School. In this role, Susan led the Business School to create a vibrant portfolio of courses, as well as local, regional, national and international relationships. She has been responsible for growing student numbers by 50%, instilling a passion for civic thinking, enterprising attitude, collaborative approach and global outlook. In this, she has grounded her work in her own passion and academic study of enterprise and entrepreneurship
Susan has worked internationally with institutions in China, New Zealand Sri Lanka, Finland and the Caribbean. She sits on the UK Board of Enterprise Educators and is an assessor for the Chartered Association of Business Schools Small Business Charter

Barbara has over 30 years director-level business experience and has worked in a number of academic and practical executive education and development roles with both Edinburgh Napier and Teesside Universities. She is the Managing Director of Cormack Consulting Group, who facilitate business between international countries, and Transform Business Consulting, assisting companies to transform their businesses in line with market expectations and demands. She is also active on a number of business support and advisory programmes, including accelerators in Scotland and a large scale Business Mentoring programme in Northern Ireland.
Barbara has a strong record in both academic and the business world. She holds a Doctorate in Business, was the Trading Director for Tesco and has worked with some of the largest of global brands, including Mars, Masterfoods, Unilever, Dolmio, Heineken, Hellmans, Flora, Nivia, Walkers and Johnson Brothers.

Lesley is a renowned thinker and developer in the field of leadership and leadership development. She has worked in the UK, Gibraltar, Spain and, latterly, the United Arab Emirates, where she was appointed Adviser to the Crown Prince Court, focusing on leadership development across 1200 schools across the Emirates and national implementation of an education development plan. Lesley’s Doctoral studies led to the development of The Effective Leader Inventory, a tool that has been used in a wide variety of areas and across disciplines in a range of sectors.
Lesley has works across a broad spectrum of clients, including small business, public sector, police, local government, military and large corporate clients. She has worked with the Management Center Europe and POCW in The Hague. She has also focused on developing internal capacity, especially through coach development in a range of clients.
