The SFEDI Diploma in Business Advice and Support has been designed for professionals working in the field of business and enterprise support. It has been designed to develop the capability of advisers, enabling them to deliver high impact interventions.
The Academy of Leadership & Management has been delivering the 'Premier Adviser' programme which leads to the award of the SFEDI Diploma in Business & Enterprise Support since 2013.. Recognising the busy schedule of a business adviser and the needs of their employers, the six month programme has been designed by our team (all of whom have a business advising background) to provide a flexible, customised learning solution. It is delivered through a unique blend of on-line learning, coaching and personal development activity. Assessment is focused on the workplace, through a combination of practical assignments and observation.
The courses are split into modules, each with a blend of on-line learning and practical activities. Students submit an assignment for each module, from which they receive regular feedback, and these also form the basis of their assessment. In addition, there is a series of monthly learning interventions - workshops, action learning groups or a coaching session.
