ILM is the UK’s leading provider of leadership, management and coaching qualifications and training. It has been part of the City & Guilds group since 2001, providing qualifications for learners in the UK and internationally. Over 70,000 people each year register with ILM and students span all industries and sectors – from small businesses to national governments. It operates across eight global regions: Africa, ASEAN (South East Asia), the Caribbean and the Americas, East Asia, India, the Middle East and the Pacific and South Asia.
There are five levels of ILM qualification. These start from Level 2 (ideal for team leaders) up to Level 7 (more suited to senior management professionals). IOEE qualifications have been designed to be flexible to meet the wide range of demand within enterprise learning, recognising the needs of industry to develop enterprising and entrepreneurial individuals to support the sustainability and growth of business and the wider community.
The IOEE also develop and publish best practice materials and resources to support the delivery of its qualifications to a high standard to ensure that students and employers have all they require when either starting or progressing their enterprise journey.

Established in 1947 as the British Institute of Management, CMI was founded in the wake of the Second World War to help rebuild British industry. Their goal remains the same today as it was then: to raise the quality and standard of management in the workplace.
CMI qualifications set out a journey of progression, delivering professional learning that equips learners with the skills, knowledge and confidence to take their management career further. CMI offers qualifications from Level 2, right through to Level 8. Below is a broad overview of the qualifications provided through the ALM and the roles that they cover.
Level 3: Designed for aspiring, supervisory or first-line managers. These programmes offer a broad range of knowledge, ranging from team leading to project and resource management.
Level 5: is more appropriate for mid-managers as they focus on developing core management skills such as managing resources, recruitment and information management.
Level 7: has been developed for senior managers who have the responsibility to translate organisational strategy into effective performance.
