Level 5 Coaching Professional Apprenticeship is designed for existing or aspiring coaches who work with individuals and teams from any sector, with the intention of empowering them to enhance their professional performance.
This qualification will equip the learner with the skills and knowledge needed to develop a sound foundation in coaching principles and techniques and provide the organisation with excellent coaching resources.
This apprenticeship is for those who want to coach either as their main occupation want to use the skills of coaching in their existing role.
They may already have formal or informal coaching experience, or aspire to bring coaching into their work place by developing their people development skills and enhancing their approaches to leadership.
No formal qualifications are required for this apprenticeship. However, it is expected that learners will be able to show some experience of coaching, albeit possibly in an informal setting.
Upon successful completion of the programme the learner will be awarded the Level 5 Coaching Professional Apprenticeship Certificate.
It is also possible for the learner to gain an ILM Level 5 qualification with limited additional work, or use this as their learning as the basis for a level 7 qualification (should their coachees be operating at a senior level). If interested, please ask us for more details and costs.
This apprenticeship is a 15-18 month learning programme, followed by End Point Assessment.

The course is delivered through a blended approach, incorporating workshops, online learning, group and individual coaching, work based learning, observation and assessments, as well as regular line manager reviews.
Learners meet regularly with their tutor and are supported in their journey by a dedicated Learner Manager.
